How Ayurveda and Yoga complement each other:

If there is something I particularly take pride in, is the fact that I have studied both the prime ancient Indian holistic sciences. Yoga and Ayurveda both promote balancing physical health along with mental well-being and have been practiced for thousands of years. They are spiritual sciences that aim to help us maintain a lifestyle that is not dependent on something external.


These two ancient Indian practices are closely interwoven and share many common principles and practices. In my opinion, yoga and ayurveda go hand in hand. Practicing Yoga without the know-how of how to implement diet and lifestyle changes in Ayurveda is just incomplete. Both the sciences emphasize the importance of living in harmony with nature and the circadian rhythm of the body. 


The principles of Ayurveda can be applied to the practice of yoga to create a more personalized and effective practice.  Overall, both are closely related practices that can help you with physical and mental well-being and balance in the body, mind, and spirit through the use of natural remedies and practices.
